SIM-Hof became a new Volkswagen dealer in Yaroslavl

An official opening of a new Volkswagen dealership – SIM-Hof took place in Yaroslavl on the last day of February. This is the first Volkswagen showroom in the city and the first dealership of the brand in portfolio of SIM group.

SIM Group is one of the largest Russian automotive holdings. It was established in 1992 year. At the moment it is the official representative of 7 brands –Citroen, Hyundai, Kia, Mazda, Renault, Suzuki, and Volkswagen. The group own 14 dealerships in four cities – Moscow, Rybinsk, Saratov and Yaroslavl.

Almost all Volkswagen models – 9 passenger cars and 2 commercial vehicles are represented at 1’200 sq. m. area of the showroom. Seven work posts of the company are able to service and repair up to 40 vehicles a day.

According to Peter Zajicek, Director of Brand Development, the demand for Volkswagen cars is growing in Russia, their sales increase too, so the company continues to open its new regional dealerships.

According to January 2017 data of the Association of European Businesses, Volkswagen was at the 5-th place in the ranking of the most sold vehicles in Russia. The company sold 4’886 (+2.3% YoY) cars and light commercial vehicles in January 2017. This is an excellent result, regarding to 5% fall of total new vehicles sales in Russia during this period.
