From 2 to 22 September in the Italian cities of Milan and Turin will host the international classical music festival MITO SettembreMusica 2016. This year the festival celebrates its 10-year anniversary
It will take place at dozens of venues in both cities,including the territory of churches, squares and theatres, concerts and other activities. The entire festival program was developed on the base of the topic “Fathers and children”, focuses on the evolution of musical styles and cultures. Listeners will enjoy works by Franz Josef Haydn, Antonio Vivaldi, Ludwig van Beethoven, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and other famous composers.
The festival will open in Turin at the Teatro Regio with a performance of works by Claude Debussy and Sergei Rachmaninoff by London Symphony orchestra under the direction of renowned Italian conductor Gianandrea Noseda. The festival will be held an interesting program of the ensemble Signum Saxophone Quartet in Turin in Casa Teatro Ragazzi e Giovani in Milan at the Teatro Dal Verme.
The peculiarity of the festival this year will be a program Open MITO Singing in which anyone is invited to sing along with thousands of members of the choir.
