Marine Le Pen wants to rename the National Front

Marine Le Pen has announced her intention to rename French party National Front (Le Front national, FN), founded in 1972, at its near the November Congress. The goal of the initiator in this is to clean up the party’s reputation from false slipping into anti-Semitism and denial of official data about the victims of the Jews during the second world war (i.e. the Holocaust). She believes that the changes will help the perception of the party as a real force, capable to rule the country. Father of marine, Jean-Marie Le Pen, as well as other elders, oppose the initiative. // Париж // 14/10/2014, Source: La Croix
