On June 12, 2016 in museum of the great Russian singer of Feodor Shalyapin took place solemn opening of the exhibition of the artist Vladimir Olkhov (born on 30.07.1956).
The artist was born and works in Sevastopol, located on the South-West of the Crimean Peninsula, which was often Chaliapin. Sevastopol has a special legal status, which is determined by the presence there of the main naval base of the black sea fleet of the Russian Federation. It is a city of Russian military glory. And, at the same time, it is a trading and fishing port, industrial, scientific-technical, cultural-historical and tourist center of the Peninsula.
