On 17-18 November V Forum of Young Journalists “Common vision for the future media: moral dimension” was held in the Belarus Republic. Its opening took place in a very unusual place, at first glance – in the Temple-monument in honor of All Saints (Minsk). However, this choice of the Forum organizers has a logical explanation – the one of the main purposes of the event was to strengthen the moral foundations of the Belarusian journalism. In his introductory speech to open the forum, prior of the parish, Archpriest Feodor Povny gave advice to young journalists – do no harm by word, empty words and verbosity.

Later, visitors of the forum examined the temple complex, visited the National Art Museum of the Belarus Republic and took part in various debates, thematic trainings and discussions. On November 18, 2016 Republican scientific-practical conference with international participation “Actual problems of pediatric cardiology and cardiac surgery” was held in the Belarus Academy of Sciences. During the conference, the Belarusian surgeons agreed with their Moscow colleagues to cooperate in development of new techniques in the treatment of children’s arrhythmology. Now, such operations have not yet done here, but it is planned to operate first patients in early 2017. Until that time, doctors will take part in a number of scientific seminars and internship abroad will take place.

On November 5, 2016 a new program of the Chamber Orchestra of Belarus “Austria – distant and near” was introduced at the stage of Belarusian State Philharmonic. This event was the start of the Austrian Cultural Season in the Belarus Republic. On November 10, 2016 it was continued with a gala concert “Music of Austria”. This evening at the Palace of Republic stage soloists performed of the Vienna State Opera in cooperation with the Presidential Orchestra of the Republic of Belarus. All in November 2016 – April 2017 about 30 events will host devoted to this event – exhibitions, seminars, concerts, theater and film productions. It is expected that one of the main events of the season will be a symposium dedicated to cultural relations between Belarus and Europe. It is possible that in the future response activities will be held in Austria. Austrian Ambassador Alexander Beierl expressed readiness to support the idea of the Belarusian cultural season in Austria, if the Belarusian side will act with such proposal.
